We are the Chordettes Acappella Chorus!

We are the Chordettes Acappella Chorus, a female choir that sings in close four-part harmony in the a cappella style. 

The Chordettes Acappella Chorus is one of Devon's most popular and long-standing ladies' choirs having been formed over 50 years ago. A competitive chorus, the Chordettes are founding members of the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers (LABBS) and compete in local and national competitions.

Our chorus is made up of members from all ages and all walks of life. We meet every Wednesday to rehearse and improve our singing technique, and each year participate in education weekends with internationally renowned coaches from the world of chorus singing and the barbershop style.
 
We take our singing seroiusly, but we also like to have serious fun! We get up to so much incuding regular walks around the Devon countryside (with plenty of coffee and cake to refuel), charity fund raising which has included sponsored activities for Rowcroft Hospice, the Alzhiemers Society and our local foodbank, sea swimming and much more.  

We reahearse on Wednesday evenings in Abbotskerswell and always love to meet new singers and who will hopefully come and join our merry gang!
